Mark Lazberger, CFA
Mark is a founding Partner and the Chairman of Omnia Capital Partners. From September 2008 until December 2018, Mark served as the Chief Executive Officer at Colonial First State Asset Management (Australia) Limited and First State Investments (now known as First Sentier) with over $240bn in Assets under Management (AuM). Prior to this, Mark was based in London and served as the President, International and Executive Vice President at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) with over $2trn in AuM. Mark, when based in Tokyo, was the Chief Executive Officer, President State Street Japan and Principal and Regional Managing Director of SSGA’s businesses in Japan, Asia, and Australia.
Mark was the inaugural multi-year global Chair of CFA Institute’s Board of Governors (2021-24), a board member of the Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia, Fisher Funds Management and Yarra Capital Management. He has served on a number of non-profit boards including Sydney Theatre Company and as Co-Chair of the Zero Childhood Cancer fundraising initiative. Mark was the 2019 recipient of the CFA Institute’s Distinguished Service Award. He has a BComm from the University of Western Australia and is a CFA charterholder.

Paul Bakker, CA
Founding Partner
Paul is a founding Partner of Omnia Capital Partners and a chartered accountant, a CPA Fellow and has earned a Master of Taxation from the University of Sydney. Prior to being recruited by the Baillieu Family to lead the NSW expansion of Mutual Trust as a Partner of that business, Paul was a Senior Partner of Crowe Horwath Australasia. Paul spent over 11 years with Crowe Horwath Australasia and during his time he was the Lead Partner of the Sydney Business Advisory/Private Clients team with responsibility for 12 Partners and 90 staff.
Paul has extensive experience in managing client relationships, focussing on ultra-high net worth families and charities. His tax expertise is combined with experience encompassing estate planning and philanthropic advice. In his personal capacity, Paul is the Managing Director of ABI Behaviour Plus, a not-for-profit that specialises in positive behaviour therapy for children with Autism.
Paul is also a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) with the Institute of Taxation and a member of the AICD.

Quan Giang, CA
Founding Partner
Quan is a founding Partner of Omnia Capital Partners and a chartered accountant with a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney. Quan spent 13 years as a Director of the Myer Family Company (MFCo) and Mutual Trust, overseeing both businesses largest client grouping by funds under management. Prior to this he worked in chartered accountancy for 10 years.
Quan’s primary focus is the management of client relationships with expertise in accountancy and taxation. Quan’s operational excellence and attention to detail ensures the timely and accurate delivery of services to our clients.
Quan combines his accountancy expertise with a Diploma of Financial Services majoring in Financial Planning. Quan has over 25 years experience incorporating tax advice, audit, estate planning, investment advice, secretariat services, and philanthropic support.

Shane McGarry, CFA
Founding Partner
Shane is a founding Partner of Omnia Capital Partners and is a CFA charterholder. He has earned a Master of Finance and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) majoring in Economics from University College Dublin and began his career at J&E Davy in 2006. Having moved through Davy’s high net worth division, Shane departed for Australia in 2011, joining Macquarie Bank. At Macquarie, Shane was involved in crafting the Private Bank’s innovative investment proposition.
In late 2015, Shane was approached to run the Myer Family Company’s (MFCo’s) investment advice function where he led the research and investment management team and served as the primary investment adviser on all MFCo engagements nationwide. Shane was also a Director of Mutual Trust post that businesses merger with MFCo. In total Shane has over 15 years’ experience covering wealth management, governance development, and investment research.

Andrew Spence, GAICD
Chief Investment Officer/Partner
Andrew is a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer of Omnia Capital Partners. Prior to his appointment, Andrew was the inaugural Chief Investment Officer of Qantas Superannuation Limited for 16 years, where he was responsible for the strategy and performance of the fund, managing over $9 billion in assets. Andrew’s investment career spans leadership and hands-on roles as an asset owner, investment manager and investment consultant in both Australia and the United Kingdom. This includes being the sole portfolio manager for MLC Asset Management and an investment consultant to Willis Towers Watson.
As CIO, Andrew leads the firm’s investment function and oversees all aspects of our clients’ portfolios, to deliver bespoke, market-leading solutions designed to preserve and sustainably grow their wealth.
Andrew is an independent member of the Great Barrier Reef Foundation’s Investment and Markets Committee and a Director of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA). Andrew is also a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Wendy Mou
Manager
Wendy is a Manager with Omnia Capital Partners. Wendy has earned a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Wendy is also a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). Wendy has 7 years of experience in Chartered Accountancy in Australia and abroad, starting her career in KPMG Fiji within the Audit Division. Prior to joining Omnia, Wendy spent 15 years at the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia as a Financial Accountant and a Finance Specialist. Wendy oversaw the Statutory and Financial Reporting, Auditing and Tax affairs of the Institute.
As a qualified CPA, Wendy provides extensive financial experience and a high level of analysis in monitoring client accounts.
Wendy is a valuable team member and assists with the AML-CTF requirements, client implementation, reconciliation of accounts, and investment reporting. Wendy also assists clients in liaising with not-for-profit organisations in their philanthropic endeavours.

Vivian Chan
Senior Associate
Vivian is a Senior Associate for Omnia Capital Partners. Vivian has earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
Based in our Melbourne office, Vivian manages the administrative affairs of our clients as well as assisting the Partner group across a varied range of tasks. Having initially interned at MFCo while completing her studies Vivian quickly stood out for her attitude, attention to detail and dependability quickly progressing to the role of Associate Adviser.
Vivian is an indispensable member of the Omnia Capital Partners family providing capacity and capability across our investments, private office, and tax compliance functions.
Vivian manages the onboarding of client accounts, and is involved in the implementation of client portfolios, our investment reporting process, and the registration and reconciliation of our client’s directly held and international assets. Vivian also contributes significantly to Omnia Capital Partners’ tax compliance function.

Viraj Shah
Investment Analyst
Viraj is an Investment Analyst with Omnia Capital Partners. He has earned a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies and Economics, majoring in Finance and Financial Economics from the University of New South Wales.
Prior to joining Omnia, Viraj worked for Insignia as a Senior Analyst in their Portfolio Exposure Management Team. In this role, he focused on portfolio transitions and investment strategy implementations. He also spent more than five years in the Investment Consulting team at Russell Investments, supporting investment strategies for a number of large institutional clients.
Viraj is a core member of all client engagements and is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of client investment portfolios, investment reporting, and is involved in the due diligence and monitoring of our external investment managers. Viraj also contributes to the Omnia Capital Partners Investment Committee.

Alan Dunne, CFA
Independent Investment Committee Member
Alan is the CEO of Archive Capital, an investment advisory firm focused on hedge fund portfolio construction, asset allocation, and manager selection for institutional and private clients.
As part of Archive’s advisory work, he serves as an external resource to allocators, acting as an independent investment committee member where appropriate. He has three decades of experience in global macro investing, with a background in both discretionary and systematic strategies.
Alan also hosts the Top Traders Unplugged podcast and writes the investment newsletter Beyond the Cycle. He holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from Trinity College Dublin, an MSc in Investment Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and is a CFA charter holder.
